I had a great time visiting with my kids.I was only there 4 days and the time sure did fly.We drove and it seemed like forever to get there.We had a great time together.They are coming to visit me here in Texas after christmas.I have posted a few pics.not all of them yet!

I know this isnt much of a blog Im writing but here goes.I am so excited because i am going to FLA. this week to see my kids.We are driving so we can stop when we want to see the sights.So starting Thurs I will be gone for a while.,but I will be thinking about you all.

I am so glad the worse part of the hurricane has passed over Jacksoville,Fla.Its still raining and very windy but the worse is over for now.My daughter phoned me this morning and said the only thing she lost was her fence.Two trees came down in her yard but missed her house.I am so grateful for that.I hope everyone else in the town is ok.Thanks for listening again!!

Both of my grown and married children live in Jacksonville Fla.They are living right in the center of the storm. I am so afraid something will happen.I keep in touch by cell phone when I can.My daughter says has no power anywhere in her neighborhood and the dont know when it will be back on.My son and his wife live down the street from my daughter and so far they are all safe,just in the dark.A tree fell on the back of my daughters house but they were able to pull it off before it went thru the roof.Please think of my kids and everyone in the town of Jacksonville!!!Thanks for listening!!

I live in a small town in West Texas.Its kinda quiet,except on weekends when most everyone goes visiting.We have a truck stop here that our friends gather.,not just weekends but it seems all thru the week.We can always tell when out of towners come in because of the lost look on their faces.Like is this real or did I step back in time.Because all you see is cowboy hats and western boots.
